Nitro Games is taking part in Game Connection Lyon from November 5 – 7. We have some strong original IP game concepts in our portfolio that we think should be interesting to any PC/console publisher. Lead 3D artist
We are looking for a talented 3D-artist who is familiar with creating high quality assets for games. Your education or background doesn’t matter, only your skills. You would be working as part of graphics team, producing new objects, improving existing ones and also making textures. You will be responsible for 3D-assets pipeline. 3D lead will be in close contact with other departments like design and code. Handling outsourced 3D-assets is also part of responsibilities.
Requirements for 3D-artist:
- Solid familiarity with 3DSMax and Photoshop
- Solid experience with hi- and low polygon modeling, UV-mapping, diffuse mapping, normal mapping etc.
- Able key frame animator
- Must be able to work within an established art style
- Strong traditional and digital art skills
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Self motivated, with a strong work ethic
- A passion for creating and playing video games
- Speaks fluent finnish or english
- Good communication and leadership skills
These are a plus but not required:
- previous experience in game development,
- knowledge of Maya/Lightwave,
- experience about motion capture,
- experience about third party rendering techniques,
- movie related skills like storytelling and video software
Position is located at Kotka, Finland.
